Shah Narayan Das- SND is a shop in Varanasi from where Ekaya in New Delhi sources their sarees. When I was in Varanasi, I bought this saree, along with many others from this shop. I have worn this saree here earlier. Wore it again yesterday for a ladies lunch. The theme of the lunch was sarees in shades of reds and pinks. As you see below, that is what everyone wore. It is only natural for people with similar interests to hang out together. In this case, it was love for six yards. It is heartening to see more and more women proudly adorning sarees. These warps and wefts are bonding women from different walks of life together. Let us proudly wear sarees.
