I had recently gone to Pune. Check the previous blog posts here and here. The purpose of my travel was to attend Pune Tangothon. So here are the pictures of the same.
Pune is a wonderful place. Good weather and amazing people. Unlike Delhi, it seemed super safe for women. People were more chilled out and relaxed. But what struck me the most was an amazingly organized tangothon. It had a good number of people attending the tango marathon, they were good dancers, the energy was very positive. Everone seemed to be united and working together for the betterment of the whole tango community. It was not an initiative or responsibility of one person but the whole community which worked selflessly. The vibe was so good. I was sold out on the whole event and am already looking forward to the next one. So far, in India, this seems to be the best place for tango.
Loved the music you played too , just awesome !! Missed dancing with you though .
