The Mexican Ambassador in India H.E Melba Pria is one dynamic lady. She is also an extremely warm, kind and gracious host. It has always been a pleasure to meet her and interact with her.
Yesterday was a reception at her residence. The whole thing was organized spectacularly.
Most of us were dressed in Indian attires.
I have worn the same Indian suit here earlier on a different occasion.
The reception was for people from Liverpool. Liverpool is THE BIGGEST chain of stores in Mexico. There are more than 110 stores and still more being added. The buyers from the store are in India to do some serious shopping for their stores. They are going to have a festival, Namaste India. I am seen below with the ladies from different departments. They are buying everything- shawls, scarves, furniture, jewelry, etc. It is great for Mexico and India trade and relations. Let us welcome them and strengthen the relationships.
