Sri Lanka is known for tea estates. The visit to one of the tea estates was a very enlightening and informative experience. I got to know the whole process of making tea, the plucking, the varieties of tea and their advantages. Then after the factory tour, I could purchase some teas. These were really expensive ones. The white tea is by far the most expensive one. We were made to try few samples and I quite relished some of those. These teas are even sent to the royalties.
