Do not Disturb: Restaurant review

Do not disturb is a very cute restaurant in CP. It has still not launched officially because they are still waiting for their bar license. It has an old vintage theme. There is terrace also. Its decor is 80 % wood work all around, old chandeliers of 80’s and 90’s. There is a wall with all vintage stuff-cupboard, record player, etc. It is 2 floors plus terrace stand alone property. It is a speakeasy bar. The bar is a reception kind of thing that they have converted into a bar. Their wall paper is also designed with DND written on it. They also have
Live Dj
Live band
Live nights like sufi nights.
Sheesha.

The Menu is very interesting. It has around the world appetizers, middle eastern delights. It has cuisines that are Mediterranean, Italian, Nigerian. The dishes are named with different countries that they come from. The menu is also according to the theme.

We started with soups
Royal Indian tomato shorba
Oriental favourite Manchow soup.
I preferred shorba. It had a very subtle taste, very delicate aroma, Unlike other soups served in restaurants, made of puree, this was really made of fresh tomatoes. I was told that it takes them 3-4 hours to make it. Manchow soup was spicy, just like it has to be.

For drinks we had
Spicy virgin mojito
Citrus cucumber cooler- Green tea based- refreshing- hint of cucumber.
3 to tango- spicy and sweet sour- 3 flavours- lemon wedges, mint, peach. – This was my top favourite. I can go there again only for this drink.

For appetizers we chose:
-Kababon ke kabab- dahi ke kabab
This was not my top favourite. I have had better ones. This did not melt in the mouth. It was more brittle but not bad. It was nice.
-      Chef special tandoori mushroom.
It is stuffed mushroom- It was spicy but really delicious.
-Exotic cottage cheese shashlik with barbecue dip
-Chun Juan Spring roll- in hot garlic sauce dip and other in sweet chilli sauce. Sweet chilli was more tangy and nicer. It came in awesome presentation.
-Cigar rolls

For mains we had
-Mumbayia Pao bhaji
 -Spinach corn ravioli.
-Pan fried noodles- I loved it.
All the dishes were yum. Absolutely no complaints. The food here is delicious and certainly does not burn a hole in the pocket. In fact, it is priced very reasonably.

Their must haves are:
DND special- chef special stuffed mushroom tikka
Chef special tandoori bulbul
DND Lebanese platter
Do rukhi sheekh kebab- mutton and chicken mix
DND special chicken orgy pizza
DND Mast biryani
