Indian Travel blogger in Gilli Lankan Fushi, Maldives

There are two routes to reach Maldives from Delhi. Either take a flight through Kochi or Colombo. We chose Kochi. It was 1.30 hours flight from Kochi. I will post some pictures of Kochi soon.
The visa for Indians is on arrival.
Gilli Lankan Fushi is supposedly No.1 hotel in the world. It is super expensive. Each meal also costs a bomb and there are no options to go anywhere else, close by and eat. But the meals are awesome.
The resort is stunning. Best way to commute all around is on bamboo bikes. They ask you not to wear your shoes here. No one does and although, I never remain without shoes ever, I am getting used to it slowly. The weather is beautiful. It is neither hot nor cold. During the day, it gets sunny and little warm but it is not very hot. It drizzles a bit and feels good. There is continuous breeze and it is little windy. There are ample water activities that you can indulge in. There is a fitness centre, tennis court, spa and restaurants. It is absolutely heavenly. Am lovin it!!

With my little nephew. He was drawing with me. He sketches so well. This was our bonding time.

Resort at night.

Outdoor open air theatre. It is called Jungle theatre. Tonight they showed Will Smith movie called Focus. Everyone was on these beds, got fresh, steaming hot popcorns and watched the movie under the star lit sky.
