I wonder why us Greenland called "green"land. It should be white land. There was nothing green there except my jacket, perhaps. Yes, if you see it from above- from the helicopter or aircraft, each floating ice, appears to have something green below. Maybe, that is why. Anyhow, enjoy the pics of GREENLAND.
This is supposedly the national dress there for boys.
This is for girls.
Even the huge tyres needed to be covered with chains so that they did not slip on the snow (actually ice) covered roads.
Many children came on the roads in the evening to play.
And thats me. Oh! pretty me!
That is another national dress (I was told).
Thats the only Tango I saw in Greenland. :)
