Mariah Carey compensated her audience for missing the show

Mariah Carey sang for the audience in a sexy low cut red dress. She was Mrs. Santa, who was singing live and compensating for missing recording. Mariah Carey performed All I Want For Christmas live at the switching on of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lights on Wednesday evening. TV bosses had reportedly intended for her to pre-record the Christmas songs ahead of the live show, but she never arrived for filming. She is said to have kept producers, staff and crew from NBC waiting in the rain for three hours when she failed to show up at the recording session for the 82nd annual tree lighting extravaganza. The audience waited in the cold and went home dissapointed. However, Mariah later took to Twitter to apologise to fans claiming the situation was "beyond" her "control" .
