I have worn and featured this sari here before. It is a Maheshwari sari.
Today I wore it again. Simple cotton saris are perfect for Delhi summers. Unlike what people may think, they are very comfortable. Sari is an attire which is like a complete ensemble. There is not much to play around. You can at the most change the style of your drapes or wear different blouses with it. But I prefer my drape in this standard method and since my saris are traditional and evergreen, I prefer my blouses also simple and evergreen.
I am a collector of saris. On the last count, my collection of saris had exceeded 400- all traditional ones. And it has not stopped adding/multiplying.
