I attended a really cool house party today. It was wine and cheese followed by fondue.
Soft Cheese
Enjoyed at the end of a meal with crusty bread, a few grapes or with a glass of win. These cheeses also delight numerous gourmets and cheese lovers who eat sandwiches, pizzas, tiramisu, and cheese cakes.
Mozzarella
Ricotta
Mascarpone
Brie
Chevre
Feta
Camembert
Hard Cheese
Hard and dry rind with deep yellow color; the body is golden yellow; has a hard and granular texture, melts in mouth. It evokes bread, almond and apple. Very Fragrant and complex aroma. Taste is rich and complex savors of hazelnut, robust and sharp, rather salty.
Parmesan
Parmigiano Reggiano
Grana Padana
Raclette
Semi Hard Cheese
Moist and creamy, semi hard cheeses tend to be on the drier side, but not hard and crumbly, just firm. Semi hard or semi firm cheeses tend to melt easily, just like semi soft cheeses and have milder flavors.
Cheddar
Pecorino with Truffles
Edam
Gouda
Emmental
Blue Cheese
Sharp and bit salty. The smell of this food is widely considered to be pungent. They can be eaten by themselves or can be crumbled or melted over foods.
Stilton
Gorgonzola
Roquefort
Danish Blue
Fresh Cheese
Rind less and of bright white color; its texture is soft, granular or smooth, and creamy and velvety, according to cheese. It has light fragrance of fresh milk, a slightly acidous creamy taste, is milky and very refreshing.
Bocconcini/ Cherry Mozarella
Paneer
Flavored Cheese
When the taste buds crave something new and different, time to turn to flavored cheeses
Jalapeno
Cranberry
Chilly
Garlic
Pepper
Chives and Onion
Whisky
Smoked
Truffle
Ash Coated
Cinnamon
Toffee
Thai Curry
Caramelized Onion

I don't drink wine but I LOOOVE cheese! We don't get nice cheeses in Dhaka so when I come to London, I have cheese in at least one of my daily meals, haha. I am a huge cheese lover! :)
