  1. 1. Depends. I love swimming at night and when it's colder out. Yoga stretches are great, as is walking.

    2. Dinner. Because of the company.

    3. None. I've been skinny all my life, except recently I gained 25 pounds which I then lost in 2 months by dieting.

    4. I like the feeling of being fit and bouncy.

    5. It does make sense. I don't have one, though my house cleaner is a personal trainer by profession. I never train for the sake of training though. I go for a swim when I want to and I swim because I feel like it not because of any health benefits.

    6. Adidas is great. I really like organic materials the best.

    7. Laxatives!!!

    8. better sleep, better digestion....

    9. Japanese

    10. exercise outdoors, even if it's just a work out DVD -- it's sooooooo nice!!!!

  3. very interesting qns Kiran!

    Let me ans now...

**1. What do you do as a part of your fitness regimen?

    I take a 50min to 1hr walk n jog daily.

    Im careful with my food.

Im a free spirit and I dun carry any emotional baggage...that makes me mentally fit too :)

**2. Which meal of the day is most important to you and why?

brekky cos thats the first thing in the day that kick starts ur system...

**3. Which fitness fads have you followed in the past which proved to be useless?

I was a gym junkie and aerobics maniac in the past...they were very useful to keep me fit no doubt. But lately I switched to walking and jogging cos I love nature and its much more relaxing and less crowded than Gyms.

**4. What is your fitness goal?

To lose some weight and to keep fit and energetic...in that process to slow down Aging too ;-)

**5. Do you think hiring a personal trainer makes sense? Do you have one? If you don't then why?

Im not a serious body-builder...so I dun need a PT. But some others may hv a PT and thats ok. Depends on wut ur fitness goals r.

**6. Which is your favorite brand of fitness apparel, shoes, gear?

    NIKE, Adidas and Fila!

**7. What is the most wierd advice you have got till date as far as fitness/beauty/some beauty product/ some particular exercise, is concerned? Or share any myth that you heard.

When it comes to Fitness I dun take many ppl's advice anyways...I just do my own thing...wutever suits me :). But I know that some of my friends and cousins are following Jenny Craig to lose weight..I honeslty think its UNHEALTHY and not practical. And they end up looking like anorexic ppl.

**8. What all changes in your body have you seen when you start exercise?

I feel so relaxed, I get better sleep and ofcourse I do see a change in my weight too...which is the best part :)

**9. Which food items are you addicted to/ crave for? What is your favorite cuisine?

unfortunately my regular diet includes rice...tho I dun eat too much of it, its so hard to keep away from it. I dun hv many cravings but Coffee is a must. My fav cuisine is Japanese! I love seafood and soups.

**10. One fitness tip that you would like to share.

    I agree with Agnes...

Exericse outdoors! Its THE BEST. It gives u a view of nature, fresh air and total relaxation.

Another tip wud be to be careful with wut u eat...that doesnt mean dieting...it means, even tho u may exercise daily, its no use if u keep eating junk food or hv unhealthy eating habits.

    one last tip...STOP WORRYING :)

ty for these great qns Kiran...cos u made me re-think my Fitness plan and it boosts the confidence too! *HUGZ* u rock!

  7. cos i could lift them

  8. @ Chriz. That is right. That is why working against own body resistance is better. e.g Push Ups.

  9. 1. What do you do as a part of your fitness regimen? (e.g walking, yoga, tennis, aerobics, etc)

    - I work out three days a week - 35 minutes cardio followed by weight training/leg exercises. I have a different schedule for all three days.
    - I also try to swim twice/thrice a week.

    2. Which meal of the day is most important to you and why?

-Breakfast is most important for me. It sets the tone for the rest of the day. If I skip my cereal+banana+tea in the morning, I am extremely tired the whole day.

    3. Which fitness fads have you followed in the past which proved to be useless?

    - Um..I think I have followed none.

    4. What is your fitness goal? (e.g loose weight, build muscle, get more flexible etc)

    - To loose weight from the harder areas of the body i.e. tummy and Upper Thighs AND to build muscle.

    5. Do you think hiring a personal trainer makes sense? Do you have one? If you don't then why?

    - For sure! My friend at Rotman is a fitness trainer. He customized my fitness plan and I have been following it for 5 weeks now. So far, it is working great! Most important thing was that before he customized the plan, he asked me what my weaknesses were in terms of food :)

    6. Which is your favorite brand of fitness apparel, shoes, gear?

    - Lululemon, Nike, and Lululemon :)

    7. What is the most wierd advice you have got till date as far as fitness/beauty/some beauty product/ some particular exercise, is concerned? Or share any myth that you heard.

    - It is very hard to loose weight once you hit 30! Whosoever gave this advice obviously was not motivated enough to work out and was a slave to his/her tongue :p

    8. What all changes in your body have you seen when you start exercise?

    - Targetted approach has helped me shed weight from those hard-to-loose areas. Also, my body is more toned now.

    9. Which food items are you addicted to/ crave for? What is your favorite cuisine?

    - Chocolates!
    -I love Thai Food

    10. One fitness tip that you would like to share.

    - Eat healthy, breathe healthy, and take care of your body - your body is your only companion for the rest of your life :)
